Niamé Maiga

Niamé Maiga
Year of birth:

At the time we met, she was a ten year old, fourth grade student. She lives with two siblings, and three step-siblings. Her parents are beggars, her mother is missing one hand, and one of her father’s legs can’t move. Three out of six children go to school. The children share one green handbag, into which they try to squeeze all their school things in. Niamé gets very good grades at school, especially in history .
