Fatoumata Camara

Fatoumata Camara
Year of birth:
2011

Although Fatoumata is only 6 years old and the youngest of the little emerging artists, she is one of the most promising ones. Her favorite dance is diola, the dance from Casamance located at the Southern region of Senegal where her mother was born. Her mother is a housewife who is illiterate. She is from the family of six children. Fatoumata is brave enough to join and dance in the center among the members of the Ballet Camara when they perform at weddings or name giving ceremonies. Despite her young age she likes the ovation for her dancing. Her favorite food is 'dodoma', a rice and tomato sause dish. She would like most a white doll and a 'girly' bike.
