Bourama Sidibe

Bourama Sidibe
Year of birth:
2008

At the start of our program, he was a six year old boy. He lives in a family with three children. His parents are unemployed, but occasionally his mother sells things at the market. His mother went to school, but his father is illiterate. They live in a ruined brick house with a courtyard, together with trelatives of many generations. Beurama lives in a house with two parts. He sleeps in the part right next to the toilet without a door. The children and the parents live in seperate parts of the house. The family struggles to pay for their talented son’s school and can’t even afford pencils for him. Their money is just about enough for their very basic needs.
